How to delete your data
AI Receptionist Ireland runs the receptionist that answers calls and messages for Irish businesses. If you've phoned or messaged one of those businesses on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or Instagram, we may hold your messages on their behalf. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my data”. Please include:
- the phone number, or Facebook or Instagram name, you used to contact the business
- the name of the business you contacted, if you know it
You don't need to give a reason.
What happens next
We'll confirm we've received your request within 5 working days. We'll delete your messages, conversation summaries and contact details within one month, and email you to confirm when it's done. If we need to check it's really you, we'll ask before deleting anything.
What we may need to keep
In rare cases the law requires us to keep certain records, such as invoices for our business clients. If that applies, we'll tell you what we're keeping and why.
You can also ask the business directly
The business you contacted controls your data, and we handle it for them. You can ask them to delete it and they'll pass the request to us.

You can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Dublin at dataprotection.ie.
